Duties & Responsibilities

• Walk on and work around rough terrain to perform the rigorous work of lifting blocks, mortar and other materials, tools, equipment for extended periods of time and during inclement weather.

• Knowledge of scaffold safety.  Climb on, work from and rearrange scaffolding as required.

​

• Read and utilize a tape measure and traditional levels to assist in layout of work.

​

• Operate forklift tele handler to move materials around on the ground.

​

• Physical movement includes bending, kneeling and rotating the upper body while lifting 20-50 lbs in both hands.

​

• Lift 15-20 lb blocks for 6-8 hours a day.

​

• Lift 50-100 lbs of premixed mortar bags on a regular basis into a cement mixer.

​

• Mix mortar by various methods by hand in a wheelbarrow with premixed mortar with a shovel or hoe, in a bucket with a mixing drill & paddle or in a cement mixer.

​

• Cut and trim stone veneers/ledge stone with a dustless saw or 4” grinder to fit around windows, doors, and other structures.

​

• Assemble temporary equipment or structures.

​

• Clean tools, equipment and work area daily.

​

• Participate in team jobsite housekeeping of your work area.
