• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings or color schedules to determine the specifications and materials required for a project are correct.

• Read and utilize a tape measure, traditional levels, laser levels and plumb bobs to layout work.

​

• Lift 50-100 lbs of premixed mortar bags or buckets of stucco materials.

​

• Mix premix substances or compounds as needed for work activities.

​

• Apply weather barrier protection, building paper, stucco wire, metal expansion joints/trims to vertical surfaces sometimes at 2nd & 3rd story buildings.

​

• Apply scratch/brown coats or stucco to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using hock and trowels, brushes, spray guns, rubbing screeds as needed.

​

• Knowledge of scaffold safety.  Climb on, work from and rearrange scaffolding as required.

​

• Work from aerial and scissor lifts.

​

• Wear personal protective equipment including fall arrest systems or harnesses.

​

• Assemble temporary equipment or structures.

​

• Cover surfaces such as windows, doors, or sidewalks to protect them from splashing.

​

• Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as troweling or spraying on coats of stucco.

​

• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as superintendent other subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.

​

• Direct/manage your tender/helper to be proactive and plan for upcoming tasks.

​

• Participate in team job site housekeeping of your work area.

​

• Documentation – take pictures of job site conditions existing, work performed beginning, during & after.

​

• File daily reports electronically.
